To email a document, it is best to convert the document to a PDF format. This will generally reduce the overall file size of the document and will make sure there are no compatibility issues with our systems. NOTE: most ISPs have a maximum size limit to what can be sent and retrieved through email. Check with your ISP before trying to send anything over 5 MB in size.
As for bringing in a document, you should still convert the document to PDF format and then either burn it to a CD or store it on a disk. NOTE: refer to your CD Burning software manual or online help for tips on burning a CD. |

PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It is a good way to keep all your margins, formatting, fonts, and graphics intact. PDF files are compact and are cross platform compatible (can be read on both Windows® PCs and Macintosh® computers). |
